The Peaches and amaretti puree are a year round dessert. A typical recipe of the Langhe and Alba, they are made with the best peaches grown in the orchards of Alba, picked at the perfect point of ripeness and cooked with only the addition of amaretto cookies, cocoa and cane sugar. It is a classic "spoon" dessert for a delicious end of the meal, it also goes well with panna cotta, ice cream or yogurt. It is excellent combined with freshly toasted bread, " brushed " with mountain pasture butter.
